An opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join Council’s Water & Sewerage Operations Team. This position is a traineeship and will involve assisting the team in the effective operation and maintenance of Council’s water supply and sewerage systems. This position is based in Walgett and will answer directly to the Team Leader, Water and Sewerage. People that identify as indigenous are encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant will possess a current Construction Induction Card (or willingness to obtain), a current Class C Drivers Licence (red or green Provisional Licence is acceptable), be able to work as a team member and be willing to undertake a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations.
